The weather this March has been amazing. All of the snow has melted and we have had some very nice and mild days. No snow at all this month!!! The temps have not been super warm (maybe this upcoming week we will top 60) but to not have to deal with snow and to get to be outside this soon has been a real treat.
The girls have had their scooters and bikes out..taking turns racing up and down the driveway.
Mimi got a scooter from Grandpa for Christmas and she was excited to cruise with Eliana once the snow was melted.
We made our first trip to a park today. The air temp was cooler down by the lake because it is still iced over but the sun was nice and warm and they had a blast playing on the playground equipment and breaking off chunks of ice at the shore of the lake.
Eliana found a few chipmunks and tried her best to sneak up on at least one of them!! She and Andrew named them chipstick, dipstick and chapstick.
The melting snow and mild temps have really made it feel like spring but it won't be official until the lakes are open. We have a few more weeks until this happens but I kow I am looking forward to seeing the sparkling waters again!!
