Eye update

I forgot to post a quick update about Meirah's eye. The doctor we met with on Monday said her problem can be fixed with glasses and she did not need surgery. They did an extensive work up on her and determined she does not in fact have a vision problem but a neurological problem which hinders her ability to focus on objects up close. He prescribed glasses (the $300 we spent was not a total waste). He felt like her current prescription needed to be altered somewhat and so now I need to get new lenses for her glasses and try to get her to wear them. It's not something that can be fixed in a month or even a year but hopefully by the time she will be in school the problem will be on it's way to being resolved. What with Ellie needing to see the orthodontist and Meirah needing new glasses every year our Medical Flex fund at work will get a work out!!!
