Sassy

We have  new addition to our family...a little calico kitty named "Sassy". If you recall we already had two other kitties..well "had" is the operative word. A couple of months ago Junie B went outside and did not come home. We don't know if she wandered away and was taken in by someone (there is a development not too far from our house) or if she was hurt out in the woods. We feel bad that we started letting her out, mainly because we were unsure as to whether or not she was smart enough to make it out there. I mean, she wasn't the brightest but she kept wanting to go out when Tippy went out so we relented. We didn't say anything to the girls at first but eventually Ellie realized she hadn't seen Junie B for awhile and so we had to break the news. They were pretty upset, Ellie more so. She even put a kitten on her Christmas list! So after browsing Craigslist I found a little calico to bring home. We surprised the girls and gave naming rights to Eliana. She started with Sprite but ended with Sassy so Sassy it is. She is a super friendly little thing and loves pets and the dog! They play together in our room (she lives in our bathroom and hasn't been out in the rest of the house yet unless she's been in the arms of one of the girls) and is very tolerant of being carried around in a purse, being read to, watching Barbie movies, the dog, and stroller rides...a must for living here with two little girls!
