Gone!!!

After wishing and waiting for two years...Eliana finally has a missing tooth!!! She has had several loose for a few months now but one has been getting more and more loose. Andrew has been bugging her about letting him pull it out but she adamantly refused until one night last week. She came upstairs and asked him to help. He grabbed a pair of pliers and they disappeared down to her bedroom.

I stayed upstairs...waiting for the screams of terror and pain.

But they never came. Instead a very happy and giddy little girl ran upstairs to show me her missing tooth!

Of course they then reenacted (very dramatically) how the tooth was pulled from her little mouth.
That night the tooth fairy made a long overdue visit to our house!

 Here is the proud owner of a gap in her mouth (and a new haircut...we were tired of the morning battles over those dreaded snarls!
