We celebrated Meirah's 5th birthday on Saturday!! She got to help bake her cake, pick what we had for supper (steak and shrimp with lots of A-1 steak sauce and Tarter sauce..we call her the "condiment kid"). She also opened her presents from us and Eliana. We will have a family party later this month:)
No she's not turning 23...they thought that since 5 candles was good then 23 would be even better!

On the Friday before her birthday we went to the playground of the school she will be attending this fall and had a picnic..that she would already be acquainted with the playground (the best part!). Andrew was home since he had spent the whole week home with the girls so we made a day of it: picnic at the playground, picked out books at the Library and we had ice cream at Target before Eliana picked out what she wanted to give her for her birthday. Then that night Andrew and I decorated her room with streamers and balloons so when she woke up on her birthday she would have a fun surprise!!
