We had a busy little Monday today. Meirah had a follow up appointment with her eye doctor. He has determined that his next step would be surgery. He believes the eye muscle on the left eye is just too strong and will continue to pull the eye into the corner. He also recommended that because surgery is a big thing we should see a pediatric opthamologist in the Cities to get a second opinion, which is probably what we will do. Mimi's little trick eye is becoming quite the hassle but we are determined to get this resolved soon so it does not interfere with her learning.
We then went to Target so Ellie could spend a gift card she got for her birthday from her Grandpa and CJ. She picked out a swimsuit, a Tinkerbell beach towel and a bubble blower. We then had lunch with Andrew because he is going to be out of town for three days for a conference. Back home we spent some more time outside.

We flew one of their new kites...Meirah was not impressed because the wind that was making our kite fly was making her cold. Ellie on the other hand was game for anything and had a lot of fun watching it go higher and higher and then crash on the ground.

We then went for a walk to go visit the neighboring horses. The fella who who owns a junk yard down the road also has horses and the horses are always different..I have no idea why. Maybe he boards them but ever since Ellie was little visiting the horses has been a favorite past time. Meirah is a little more cautious around them but likes to see them too. Today we were lucky because they were in a visiting mood and came up to the fence to check us out.

The rest of the day was spent inside as it was cold and rainy but over all it was a nice way to start the week!!
