Creative

Eliana has always been a creative and curious little individual. She has never been one to sit quietly and play with blocks or baby dolls. When she was a baby Andrew would walk around the yard with her and explore the grass and leaves and the bark on the trees and she loved it. She is always experimenting with something or wanting to create. She doesn't care what the medium is whether it be wood, cloth, paper she loves to either make something or take something apart to figure out how it works. Her imagination is limitless and she will create pretend scenarios for hours.

She loves to paint, color and draw. She hounds me to scrapbook with her and one of her favorite stores to visit is the craft store. She can't leave unless she has ribbon or fabric or paints to take home with her. This morning she decided she was going to make chocolate oatmeal....it consisted of chocolate and oatmeal all right but I also think t here was flour, brown sugar and peanut butter chips in there.

This weekend she spent hours designing a cat play place by nailing wood together and hanging string on it. I think this is the remnant of it as it was eventually taken apart to be built into something else. God has given her a neat little gift and we try to encourage it as much as we can (sometimes the messes are a pain to clean up :) ) but it's fun watching her discover how amazing God's creation is and do a little creating herself!
