Happy Easter everyone!!! We spent the holiday weekend here in Bemidji. We started the day with the traditional Easter basket and Easter egg hunt.
Mimi's basket filled with lots of girly things: hair accessories, flip flops, nail polish and lip gloss.
Ellie's basket filled with craft projects, sidewalk chalk, swimming goggles and a great big bouncy ball.
Hunting for the Easter eggs Papa hid around the house!!
Getting ready for church.
Since the weather was amazing we decided that after church we would pack up a quick picnic and head to the park.
The last of the lake ice, blown up on shore.
Where just a week ago the girls were walking on ice now is open water.
After our time at the park we headed home because Andrew had plans to run 20 miles today and that was going to take over three hours. We enjoyed a delicious brunch type meal of crepes with berries, white chocolate/cappuccino muffins and ham and cheese egg fritatta when he finished running though.. YUM! Andrew and the girls get another day off to play tomorrow so the weekend continues!
