The Wilkinsons: We are on our way...

to home ownership!! Last Monday evening our Realtor called us as she was walking through a house that recently became available (not even listed yet). She thought, based on what we told her, that we would like this house so we scheduled to meet her there last Tuesday. After walking through the house we decided we were interested and would try to meet with our banker.

On Thursday we met with our banker and discovered we could afford more than we thought we could. With solid numbers in hand we contacted our Realtor again and asked to see the house on Friday. She called me back and informed us that offers had come in on the house but we decided to see it again anyway. She brought along her husband, who is also a realtor, and after thorough walk through and much discussion on what we would need to offer to get this house, we decided to talk about it for a couple of hours and get back to them.

We grabbed lunch and went back to BSU to hash it out. We looked at the all important numbers again and decided this house was a good investment and that we wanted it. We called our Realtors, who submitted our offer and then we waited it out through the weekend. Yesterday we got the good news! We are still trying to work through all of the details though, the main issue is getting the money for the closing and to do that we need to either sell the trailer or take out a loan against the trailer. The trailer's title is needing to requested from Wells Fargo and we are getting that mess figured out and after talking with the new park owner, we discovered he may be interested in buying the trailer. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the outside and we are going to try to get our Realtor to bring us out there so we can get some pictures of the inside.
